Rare Trip to Sumter! |
| The D&H Motorsports team, with G.R. Smith behind the wheel
of their #54 entry, made a rare visit to the Sumter Speedway in
Sumter, South Carolina last Saturday night, November 8. An unsanctioned,
$2,000 to win Dirt Late Model show took place at Sumter on Saturday.
G.R. qualified third quickest in time trials, which earned him
the inside second row starting spot for the 50-lap main event.
The Huntersville, North Carolina driver had a strong car throughout
the A-Main and eventually brought his #54 machine home in the

| D&H Motorsports Competes
at Lowe's Last Week... |
| G.R. Smith and his #54 Dirt Late Model team returned to dirt-slinging
action last week (October 29-November 1) at the state-of-the-art
Dirt Track at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina.
The World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned three separate
events last week at the 4/10-mile, Charlotte-area venue. Unfortunately
for the D&H Motorsports team, G.R. was unable to transfer
his #54 Rocket entry into the $10,000 to win feature events that
were held at Lowe's on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. You can

Action this Week at Lowe's!!! |
| After taking the October 24-25 weekend off from Dirt Late
Model competition, the D&H Motorsports team will return to
dirt-slinging action this week at the Dirt Track at the Lowe's
Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The state-of-the-art
facility will play host to a huge four-day, World of Outlaws Late
Model Series extravaganza starting tonight, October 29 and concluding
on Saturday night, November 1. The rain-postponed 'Armour Vienna
Sausage Showdown' will kick-off the week tonight, as the topless
race offers a unique passing bonus that could push the first-place
prize of the 50-lap A-Main to as much as $30,000.
The 'VAULT World Finals' will then take center stage for the
rest of the week at Lowe's. Qualifying will take place on Thursday
night at the 4/10-mile oval, which will set the heat race lineups
for both the Friday and Saturday shows. The 'VAULT World Finals'
is headlined by a pair of $10,000 to win, 50-lap main events on
Friday and Saturday, with the weekend finale being broadcast LIVE
on the SPEED Channel. Be sure to tune in Saturday night, November
1 to the SPEED network, as the dirt will start flying at 8:00

| Tire Issues Relegate G.R.
to Twelfth Place Finish at Cherokee... |
| G.R.
Smith and the D&H Motorsports team invaded the Cherokee Speedway
in Gaffney, South Carolina last Saturday night, October 18 for
the annual running of the 'Stick Elliott Memorial.' The O'Reilly
Southern Allstars East Series race paid $4,000 to the winner.
G.R. timed in fifth quickest in qualifying, which earned him the
inside third row starting spot for the 40-lap main event. The
Huntersville, North Carolina driver ran amongst the top five early
before tire trouble in the waning laps helped relegate him to
